BUDDY BEAR BERLIN
Art as a symbol of diversity, connection and cultural exchange.
Gita Kurdpoor brings her distinctive visual language to the iconic Berlin Buddy Bear, transforming the sculpture into an individual work of art.
Representing diversity, tolerance and unity, the Buddy Bears have become internationally recognised symbols of Berlin. Through her artistic interpretation, Kurdpoor connects these values with her own creative expression, bringing colour, movement and individuality to each sculpture.
For Kurdpoor, the collaboration reflects her personal connection to Berlin, a city shaped by different cultures and perspectives. Each Buddy Bear becomes an expression of creativity and cultural dialogue, connecting art with people beyond geographical and cultural boundaries.
