Spiritual Genesis
Gita Kurdpoor’s latest series, "Spiritual Genesis," presents a captivating exploration of life’s fundamental themes through vibrant and powerful imagery. This collection weaves together three distinct yet interconnected artworks, each representing a unique facet of existence and spiritual growth.
The first piece, "Evolution," vividly captures the essence of creation and the emergence of life from its most primordial forms. Through dynamic colors and forms reminiscent of roots and buds, it illustrates the initial stages of growth and the boundless potential inherent in the universe's beginning.
The second artwork, "Emanation," delves into the profound attributes of strength, wisdom, and tranquility. Its bold use of color and modern forms creates a compelling visual narrative that embodies the deep, spiritual significance of its central theme, offering a powerful reminder of the interconnectedness of all things.
The third piece, "Ethereal Presence," draws upon the symbolism of a revered spiritual guide. This majestic figure embodies the balance between the spiritual and the material realms, representing renewal, courage, and the nurturing of one’s inner energies. The artwork invites viewers to connect with their own strength and explore their spiritual journey with both grace and insight.
Together, these works form a cohesive series that invites reflection on the origins, manifestations, and guiding forces in our lives, celebrating the rich interplay of color, form, and spiritual symbolism in Kurdpoor’s art.

NAKTAKS
These five mythical beings are powerful soul guides, urging us to trust more in our intuition and divine guidance. They emanate energies that help us overcome primal fears and sharpen our senses. They embody wisdom, awareness, emotions, and attention. They penetrate the veil of night and illuminate the darkness. They bring strength in turbulent times and grant the ability to recognize connections. The Naktaks free us from emotional burdens on our journey toward inner peace.

THE FREE SPIRIT
The Colors of Life are stylistically expressed by the artist Gita Kurdpoor in her digital work. She presents her own universe as a foundation projected onto the outer towers of Berlin Cathedral. In this projection, they support the self, protect it, and thereby hold the core of our personality. Life confronts us with challenges and reveals what we are capable of enduring and experiencing: moments of happiness, deep sorrow, the unexpected, and the predictable. What defines these moments for us? Emotions. They show us how we experience the colors of life:
Colorful or dull, dark or bright. Do we accept circumstances? Do we consciously experience joy and sorrow? Do we fight for our beliefs and personal values, or do we give in to avoid living or experiencing outside the norm? Finding and maintaining one’s focus and inner center is essential for personal authenticity.

THE GUARDIAN OF THE PORTAL
In this work, Gita Kurdpoor addresses the topic of higher consciousness and our perception of the time and space in which we live. The piece can be interpreted in various ways, empowering and challenging the viewer to find their own meanings, drawing an analogy with life and how we each construct our own interpretations of it. At the center of the piece, one can find a portal that may lead to the heart of one’s soul, where the keys to our perception of reality and identity lie. The guardians of the portal are the protectors of the depths of our subconscious and a projection of all levels of perception. Getting to know oneself takes effort, and one cannot pass the guardians without work.
